BioI am a consultant for the managed care industry, specializing in a set of measures called HEDIS. Somehow this has turned out to be a good niche for me, though my background is as a programmer/analyst. I have a bachelor's degree in Mathematics, and most of an MS in Applied Mathematics, but I didn't finish. (Because I met my husband and became happy.) I keep the journal mainly for my friends and family.
I'm a practicing Tibetan buddhist. My teacher is Drupon Thinley Ningpo, a Drikung Kagyu teacher residing at the Tibetan Meditation Center in Fredricksburg, MD. I took the refuge and bodhisattva vows as a Karma Kagyu.
